Why do I call myself a vagabond?
In 2012 we lived in Illinois.
In 2013 we lived in Alabama.
In 2014 we lived in Boca Raton, Florida.
In 2015 we lived in Holland, Michigan.
In 2016 we lived in Palm City, Florida.
In 2017 we lived in North Augusta, South Carolina.
In 2018 and currently, we living in Snellville, Georgia just outside of Atlanta.
We spent 25 years in the same place, busy working and raising kids. But one day we decided it was time for something different. Since 2012 my husband works basically doing consulting on one year contracts. We frequently move to areas where other people go to vacation.
We have learned
how to move quickly,
how to pack,
how to minimize,
how to make ourselves feel at home in new places quickly,
how to make friends quickly,
how to have FUN!
Many of my blog posts will be about awesome places to visit, how to eliminate the unnecessary, how to move, how to pack and move all the things necessary when one loves to sew and quilt, how to make friends.
In other words, how to live as a vagabond and thrive.
